The Mills & Boon Indian Author Collection is always a definite treat to read and this I can surely say for all the books I have read so far.

The most recent book I read in this series is “Trouble has a New Name” by Adite Banerjie.

The author was a business journalist for fifteen years before she decided to turn from a journalist to author. She wrote a romantic short story for the 2012 Passions Aspiring Authors Contest and won the contest.

Ever since then, she has never looked back and this book stands testimony to that.

The book is about a scandalously hot model Rayna Dutt, who is on her way to her best friend Milee’s “The Big Fat Indian Wedding” in the pristine islands of Andaman.

On her way from Mumbai to Port Blair, she comes across Neel Arora and they have quite a tiff about Rayna turning up late for the private flight.

On her part, Rayna says nasty things to him but is left shell-shocked when upon her arrival at the Nirvana on the Beach resort, she discovers that Neel and she will be sharing the Villa.

What is more humiliating is the fact that the Agra aunty and her group will be there too, who will leave no stone unturned to poke their nose in her life and lifestyle.

As if that is not enough, her ex-boyfriend after having dumped her just a few days earlier over an SMS turns up too with the latest Bollywood item girl by his side.

Rayna has no way out and no choice but to bear the agony of being surrounded by the most unwanted people at her best friend’s wedding and she hasn’t even told anyone about her breakup yet.

At a time when Rayna has become hopeless, Neel Arora turns up by her side like a knight in shining armour and agrees to play the role of her fake fiancé.

But will that work out for Rayna? Which way will the sparks fly? Get to know more about Rayna’s story in this tantalizing tale of romance and drama.

The author’s writing style is impressive and she manages to keep the readers hooked right till the end. She also makes the characters of Rayna and Neel exquisitely charming and captivating.

The background theme of “Trouble has a New Name” where all the action takes place is also quite interesting – a dream Indian wedding in Andaman, now who does not want to read about it?

After reading this book I can surely say that out of all the Indian Author Collection series of Mills & Boon, this one book and the author have surely become my favourites and I am eagerly looking forward to reading more books by Adite.

For the freshness of theme and the unmatched entertainment quotient, I give “Trouble has a New Name” four out of five stars and I recommend this to all my readers who love romance fiction.
